I think brown bagging it is one that can save you the most, but I’ve never been one to brown bag it when I had a choice to eat in a cafeteria. Right now I have no choice but to “brown bag it” (I actually go home to eat at lunch) and I find my lunch meals tend to cost under $2. When I ate in a cafeteria they cost $5-6 with beverage, and actually, add another $2 for other beverage, so say and average of $7. That’s an extra $100/month, or $1200 year just for lunch.
Hmmm, driving a 19-year-old vehicle here…
